There is a new pre check
program sponsored by TSA. Frequent fliers are being invited to join the program
by their airlines. However, even if you are overlooked by your airline there is
a way to qualify. Pre check is not available at all airports yet but is being
expanded.
Alaska Airlines, American
Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and US Airways are contacting
eligible frequent flyers with an invitation to opt-in. Once the passenger
opts-in, the airline identifies the individual as a TSA Pre✓™ participant when
submitting passenger reservation information to TSA’s Secure Flight system.

Before a traveler can apply for a Trusted Traveler program, they must first register for a CBP Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) account.
Before a traveler can apply for a Trusted Traveler program, they must first register for a CBP Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) account.
Once registered in GOES,
the traveler can move forward with the enrollment in one of the CBP eligible programs. The GOES system will
provide a PASS ID number after the enrollment in a Trusted Traveler program.
