Full Moon Baby

Last week my niece had her second child. Yes  I admit that I am one of those crazy astrologers who keeps moving the chart around as the labor progresses. To those of you who enjoyed "Into the Lion's Den", you will get a karmic chuckle when I tell you that the new baby is another lion - yes, another Leo rising. In fact, my niece is also a Leo rising. Lions, lions, everywhere!

However, she has another distinction, that of being born when the Moon was full. We call the Moon "full" when it appears at it's brightest in our sky. This is made possible because it is at the furthest point away from the Sun and is not in the shadow of the Sun's powerful rays. You can spot a full moon person by their chart because the Sun and Moon glyphs are opposite one another. We say that the Sun and Moon are in "opposition" in a chart.

People born under the full Moon do not grow up to be werewolves but they do have a problem connecting their emotions with their energy force.  They can feel disconnected from their emotions and have a hard time channeling their feelings. Also, when the Moon is again full they could feel the emotional tug we all get at that time with even greater force.

So if you are wondering why you get a little loopy around the full Moon check your chart. If your Sun and your Moon are in opposition, you too are a Full Moon Baby!
