Snorkeling in Iceland? Yup!

Caving And Snorkeling Combination Day Trip in Thingvellir National Park

Start in the blackness as we explore the hidden world of the lava field under Thingvellir National Park, and then immerse yourself in the blue of Silfra's crystal clear waters.
This tour heads to Thingvellir National Park, where we explore the hidden marvels of a lava cave.
The Gjabakkahellir cave is a perfect example of an Icelandic lava tube and is situated in one of the most active volcano areas in the world. After the underground exploration, enjoy a packed lunch before heading to lake Thingvallavatn.
Snorkeling in the Silfra fissure is the second activity and incredible adventure of the day.
Silfra is one of Iceland's best-kept secrets, a submerged crack between two continental plates that drift apart 2 cm per year. It's an otherworldly underwater scenery in countless shades of blue. The crystal clear water in the deep fissure gives you a feeling of being weightless as you float down with the lazy current.
This tour is operated from May 15 to September 15 with daily departures from Reykjavik everyday at 9:00 (or from Thingvellir at 10:00)
