This is just an example of the type of independent tour we can arrange for you in Europe! A train ride through Andalusia! DAY 01: Madrid Upon arrival at Madrid Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Remainder of day at leisure. Overnight in Madrid. DAY 02: Madrid Today, we will explore this vibrant city, you will take a panoramic city tour of Madrid. We will be visiting the main avenues; Alcala street, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de España, where we will see panoramically the view of most representative buildings as Royal Palace, Teatro Real, the Parliament and the elegant monumental fountains of Cibeles and Neptuno along Castellana Avenue. Overnight in Madrid. Meals: B DAY 03: Madrid Day at leisure or continue discovering the Madrid, visit the Royal Palace, or the Prado Museum, or even the near monumentally rich surroundings (Toledo, Escorial, etc) Overnight in Madrid. Meals: B DA 04: Madrid – Seville Transfer independently to the train station to board your high speed train to Seville. Remainder of day at leisure, or take a walk in the Maria Luisa Gardens with the monumental Plaza de España is a delight. Explore also on your own the Royal Alcazares, the medieval Arab palace is a must see. Overnight in Seville. Meals: B DAY 05: Seville Today you will explore the city of Seville. You will be visiting the 15th-century Cathedral, one of the most breathtaking in all of Christendom, you can walk up to La Giralda (striking minaret of the former mosque), Seville’s most famous monument inside the Gothic Cathedral, the largest in Spain and third in the world with the burial of Cristobal Colon discover of America. Then, walk by Santa Cruz Quarter, a maze of small alleys and small squares with the peacefulness of a tiny garden. Admire the whitewashed houses, small squares and flower-filled patios. Remainder of day at leisure. Overnight in Seville. Meals: B DAY 06: Seville – Cordoba Transfer independently to the train station to board your high speed train to Cordoba. During the Roman age, Cordoba was a very important city, but during the Moslem domination it reached its maximum splendor, especially in the IX and Xth centuries, when the Caliphate made it their capital. This city was the most populated town in the world (almost 1 million). Remainder of day at leisure, you may want to visit the great mosque of Cordoba, considered the nicest among the historical mosques, also the Cathedral. You can also take a walk around the Jewish Quarter, with its fresh narrow streets and Andalusia "patios", where you will find one of the few perfectly preserved Synagogues in Spain. Overnight in Cordoba. Meals: B DAY 07: Cordoba Transfer independently to the train station to board your high speed train to Costa Del Sol, Malaga. Torremolinos is the capital of Costa del Sol, has a huge sand beach, very popular with tourists as well as a vibrant night life. Overnight in Costa Del Sol. Meals: B DAY 08: Costa Del Sol – Granada – Costa Del Sol Today we will head out to explore the city of Granada. We will visit inside the famous La Alhambra Palace, the best example of the sophisticated Royal life in the Nazari Islamic kingdom in the XIVth century. We will also visit the famous and beautiful Generalife gardens with its fountains, in the afternoon return to Torremolinos. Overnight in Costa Del Sol. Meals: B DA 09: Costa Del Sol Day at leisure to bask in the sun and enjoy the beautiful beaches of Costa Del Sol. Overnight in Costa Del Sol. Meals: B DAY 10: Costa Del Sol – Madrid Transfer independently to the train station to board your high speed train to Madrid and return to the airport or extend your trip.
